The former Codfather in avenida Mediterraneo, Nerja, has reopened as the Mesón Asador de Castilla. In some ways it has been good to see, throughout this continuing financial crisis, that as soon as one place closes down, another opens.
For the Mesón Asador de Castilla, now well established, it appears to be an addition to its current premises in calle Málaga, Nerja. The new location is roomier and has terraces front and back. They must be doing well.
A good example has been the number trying to make a go of what was Metroplis in Plaza Tutti Frutti, Nerja. It became the Paradise Cocktail Bar, then El Ancla, then Scrum and now Eli’s, all happening in a relatively short space of time.
