The National Police have arrested two people and charged four others in connection with the sale of counterfeit jewellery via two internet portals and in three shops in Córdoba.
The individuals have been charged with crimes against intellectual property rights.
Police seized over 2,500 items including bracelets, pendants, rings and earrings made of gold, silver and even diamonds. The jewellery, using such brand names as Tous and Bvlgari, was of a high quality and was being sold at similar prices to the real thing.
