Air Nostrum has once again been awarded the contract for flights between Sevilla and Almeria, deemed an essential service by the Council of Ministers in March 2009.
Air Nostrum operated the service between January 2010 and January 2014 and since then has been covered by Air Europa.
The new contract begins today and continues for four years. The cost to the Government, in compensation to the airline, is around €9 million for the four years.
