The new secretary general of the PSOE, Pedro Sánchez, has said that Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy should spend less time trying to find lucrative European jobs for his ministers and more time trying to create dignified employment in Spain.
He obviously still has a lot to learn about politics.
Rajoy has been meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel who is seeking Spanish support for her unpopular austerity policies. In exchange, Rajoy is reportedly wanting German support in his efforts to obtain lucrative European employment for Miguel Arias Cañete and Luis de Guindos.
