To coincide with the start of celebrations in Maro on September 6th, the winners of the Maro Facades Contest will be announced after the official proclamation.
The contest carries a first prize of €800, second prize of €300 and third prize of €100 and involved all the homes in Maro as no pre-registration was necessary.
A second competition involving House Fronts was abandoned due to an insufficient number of entries.
