The Council has announced that finally, after five years and numerous missives, the Junta de Andalucia has reactivated the 2009 Housing Rehabilitation Plan.
The Council has also stated that it will not charge the taxes on the works and they must start by January 25th and be completed within eight months.
Some of the families waiting for the assistance under the Plan have, in the meantime, had to carry out renovation works themselves as a matter of urgency.
