Spain were beaten 2-1 by Slovakia in the Euro qualifiers on Thursday night, their first defeat in a qualifying match in a very long time, thirty-six games in fact.
Kicka put Slovakia ahead in the 17th minute and it wasn’t until the 82nd minute that Alcácer managed an equaliser. However, five minutes later Stock put the ball in the net to seal a somewhat surprising win for Slovakia.
Slovakia lead the group with six points after two games, followed by Spain, Ukraine and Macedonia on three points each and Luxenbourg and Belarus on a single point apiece.
