Antonio Pérez Bermudo, a resident of Ecija, Sevilla, who has been in a coma since Saturday after being hit by a brick thrown, allegedly, by an 11-year-old, has died from his injuries.
The incident occurred on Saturday when the man was walking through Ronda de los Molinos in the Las Huertas district and was hit on the head by a brick thrown from a height of around six metres.
Police located the alleged culprit, an 11-year-old boy. The family were apparently about to move from Écija and it is reported that local residents had already complained about objects, from oranges to stones, being thrown from the roof of the building.
Antonio Pérez Bermudo had been in a coma since the incident.
