The number of officially registered unemployed in Spain rose by 79,154 in October, according to the Ministry of Employment and Social Security, the lowest October increase since 2010.
In Andalucia, the number of jobless rose by 15,058, or 1.46%, from the previous month. October is the end of the tourist season, the reason given for the increase, but unemployment has risen for the past three months, namely the main tourist season.
