Maritime Rescue are searching for two migrants who apparently fell overboard from two boats intercepted early this morning about 13 miles southeast of Mesa Roldán, Almeria.
The first boat was intercepted late on Wednesday night. When the Maritime Rescue vessel arrived on the scene the small migrant boat had capsized. Fifteen men were rescued but the passengers said that one of their companions was missing.
Later, at around 01:00, a second boat containing 23 men was located. The passengers had already stated that one of the passengers had fallen overboard and a search was launched.
The 38 passengers were taken to the port of Almeria, arriving at just before 04:00.
