A man who showed signs of intoxication died on Saturday in calle Pedro Antonio de Alarcón in Granada city after twice having refused medical help.
An ambulance crew first tried to assist the man on Saturday morning at the juncyion of calle Sol and calle Pedro Antonio de Alarcón, but he refused to be treated and would not enter the ambulance.
Later, a second ambulance crew in the area tried to help him, but again the man refused their offers.
Finally, the Emergency Services received a report that the same man was unconscious on the street and an ambulance was dispatched. Medics could do nothing for the man who is thought to have died from cardiac arrest.
The nature of the intoxication is not yet known.
