A total of 45 sub-Saharan gentlefolk attempting to enter Spain through irregular means were intercepted on Thursday about 56 miles southeast of Granada.
The passengers, 33 men, 8 women and 4 children, were located after one of the passengers called the authorities.
The weather was good so, despite being at sea for fifteen hours, the passengers were all in good health.
Upon arrival in Motril they were attended by the Red Cross.
