The DGT has received revenues of 99.1 million euros in Andalucia during the period from November 2011 to October 2014, the revenue coming from the cash cows installed on the roads of the province.
Of this total, 23.9 million euros relates to the province of Málaga, which ranks fourth in Spain behind Madrid (€39.5 million), Sevilla (€28.1 million) and A Coruña (€26.4 million).
Nationally the DGT raised revenues of almost €509 million from their radar traps. The nearest rival to Andalucia was Castilla y León with €73.2 million, followed by Galicia with €60.9 million.
