In Linares, Jaén, the hall destined to hold a New Year party for around 400 people has been closed by the local municipal authority for ‘irregularities’.
Inspections of premises destined to hold New Year events all over Andalucia have come under the scrutiny of Councils fearful of being sued in the event of anything going wrong, and inspectors have been making their rounds to ensure that all safety requirements are met.
The Privilege hall in Linares reportedly failed to pass muster as a result of a number of ‘irregularities’ and has been closed.
