The National Police have broken up a Moroccan organisation involved in distributing significant quantities of drugs throughout Europe, with arrests taking place in Madrid, Granada, Burgos, Algeciras (Cádiz), Guadalajara, Barcelona, Córdoba, Ceuta and Málaga.
The police investigation began over two years ago. The trafficking organisation was structured into separate cells scattered throughout Spain.
During the raids, police seized two million euros in cash, two assault rifles, five pistols and sophisticated electronic and communications equipment.
