Samu Castillejo scored the only goal of the match as Málaga registered a 1-0 victory over Valencia.
There were nine yellow and one red card in the match, Valencia’s Joao Cancelo getting his marching orders in the 73rd minute.
Valencia are fifth in La Liga, Málaga are seventh.
