A 23-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death by drowning of the three-year-old son of his girlfriend, the body having been found this morning in a pond in the Montes de Málaga.
It was the man, initials A.F.A., who denounced the disappearance of the three-year-old boy on Saturday, offering several different stories as to what actually happened.
He reportedly began by stating that the boy had disappeared in a shopping centre in Rincón de la Victoria, before changing his story to say that the disappearance took place at the beach. Searches were carried but without success.
However, the suspect eventually led the officers to a pond in the Montes de Málaga where the body was found.
