The mother of an eighteen-month-old baby and her boyfriend have been arrested in Málaga on suspicion of child abuse.
The toddler is currently in the Hospital Materno Infantil in Málaga and the Child Protection Services are trying to locate any other relatives.
The mother had taken the child to hospital and doctors discovered bruises on various parts of the baby’s body and with different levels of development. This led to the instigation of the protocols relevant to a suspected case of abuse.
The mother reportedly told medical staff that the child had fallen from his crib.
