On Sunday the 26th, a woman fractured her leg and needed rescuing by firemen and civil guards while she was walking in the upper part of the Rio Chillar in Nerja, the area known as the Tercera Fabrica de Luz. She was evacuated and given needed attention at the Nerja Health Centre from where she was later taken to the local hospital in Velez Malaga.
