There was a small fire on Wednesday afternoon on an area of scrub land in calle Dámaso Alonso, Nerja.
The incident occurred at 16:20 and the blaze was extinguished before it could spread to nearby houses. The Fire Brigade, Local Police and Guardia Civil were involved in suffocating the fire.
