There was a small fire at an hotel in calle Chaparil in the early hours of Thursday morning, although it did require the precautionary evacuation of the premises as well as those of another nearby hotel and several bars in the area.
The fire began at around 01:17 in the laundry room of the hotel, the blaze originating in an elecricity junction box. No-one was injured in the incident but the laundry room was reportedly quite badly damaged.
Once the blaze had been extinguished, patrons of the hotels and bars were allowed to return.
