Calle Animas is once again open to traffic after extensive works to replace the road surface and pavement areas.
Bollards, similar to those in Plaza Cavana, are also going to be installed so as to be able to regulate the traffic in the road if necessary. The re-opening of the street will certainly ease the congestion of the past few months at the entrance/exit of the municipal underground car park.

While it all looks very nice it is the second time in less than 10 years this has been done.
What about Castilla Perez and the side roads, its disgusting, it was dug up in the early 90s and not even a repair to the pavements in all that time, or one that is noticeable.
Is it because there are lots of ” giris” in this area ?? beggars belief.
its becoming a no go zone.
A stroll along El Barrio cross over onto Antonio Million, looking down towards the sea and along Antonio Million it is looking neglected and derelict. Why has the town hall not inflicted fines for those empty locals that have been like that ” for years” or does the town hall making it difficult to open again because of
the stringent by laws, paper work and expense ?
