What salary does the Mayor receive? What is the recruitment process by which each official of local government is brought in? The answers to these questions and many others have never been totally transparent.
But as of December 10th 2015, all municipalities and local councils in Andalucia will be required, by law, not only to publish proactively in their respective websites any institutional, economic and legal information relevant to its activity; but also to answer all requests made from citizens. What makes it even more fun is that they have a deadline to answer within a maximum period of one month.
