Currently on exhibit in the Sala Municipal de Exposiciones in Nerja is the award winning photographic exhibition “Humpback Whales of the South Pacific” by photographers Lisa Rackstraw and Javier Delgado Esteban. On display are over forty photographs, many of which have been awarded prizes in international competitions such as the Fine Art Photography Awards 2015 and the Bronze Medal Prix la photographie de Paris.
The exhibit follows the migration of the humpback whales from Antartica to the warm waters of Tonga where the photographers have had the pleasure of spending time in the water and up close with these majestic gentle ocean giants, to give the viewer a rare close up insight into the ‘whale nation’.
