Approximately 200,000 euros has been invested in the town of Torrox, Axarquia to regenerate more than 20,000 cubic meters of sand. Preparation of the beautiful beaches are in anticipation of the many tourists that will visit Nerja and the next town down, Torrox in the Easter holidays. The local government team is committed to improving the quality and attractiveness of the beaches. They also confirm that six lifeguards have been hired to meet the needs of users and bathers in the period during the week’s holidays until next Sunday. Lots of Sunshine has been forecast for this coming weekend and will be welcomed after today’s showers.
