The stunning superyacht named Dilbar was built by the famous shipyard Lurssen. With 20 guest suites and 35 crew cabins, Dilbar is said to have cost over €620 million. Dilbar has completed her first voyage since being delivered to her new owner, Russian billionaire Alisher Usmanov, who is a major shareholder in London’s Arsenal Football Club besides many other well known companies. The 156-metre superyacht, the biggest in the world by volume, arrived in Gibraltar last week after leaving Germany.
Although there are many more illustrious and indeed alluring harbours to dock at, Dilbar’s first destination, Gibraltar was its first course, and possibly the best ‘pit stop’ in the Mediterranean for stocking up on supplies.
