Sharing a yacht with Lional Messi is an opportunity that most football fans would only dream of.
And now one Spanish fan will never forget this day after spending time with the famous Barcelona footballer doing just that.
Suli, from Ceuta (a Spanish city near the north Moroccan coastline), swam a kilometre from the shore after spotting what he believed was Lional Messi relaxing on his boat. Exciteldly arriving alongside the Barcelona superstar’s yacht he was shocked to be invited aboard and not just to have his photo taken with him. Messi wanted to serve the fan a drink to cool down and even spent 20 minutes chatting with Suli about football.
Reportedly the 24 year old fan had put his phone in a waterproof bag before swimming but realized that it was too wet to get a photograph of Messi, however Messi kindly had one of the yachts crewe take one of the two together and offered to send it to him.
