A Nerja fire engine overturned during an emergency call locally. Last Friday the vehicle was heading towards the roundabout near the Maro access to the Mediterranean motorway (A7) where it is thought may have hit the kerb, causing the crash. The firemen were rescued by other emergency rescue workers and rushed to velez-Malaga. The three men were fortunate to be found with only minor injuries.
