Tomás Hernández Molina was born in Alcalá la Real in 1946. Dedicated to teaching throughout his career he has received, among others, the City of Zaragoza Award, the Manuel Alcantara Prize, the Jaén Prize, the Antonio Oliver Belmás Prize and the City of Pamplona Prize.
Jazz Band
DANIEL AMAT (Piano)
Daniel Amat is the son of the legendary Cuban three-player Pancho Amat. He studied piano at the National School of Music in Havana, graduating as a classical pianist and teacher. He later came to love jazz and the music of Latin American composers.
JUANMA NIETO (Drums)
Born in Córdoba, Argentina in 1979, Juanma started playing the drums at age 11. After moving to Madrid in 1988 he played with various groups before travelling to New York where he played the drums for top American jazz artists.
JOAN MASANA MOYA (double bass)
Born in Barcelona in 1977, he graduated in the “Aula de jazz” of Barcelona where he obtained a degree in modern music and jazz. Since 2009 Joan has been a part of Manuel Granados flamenco group.
PABLO GARCIA VEGA (Saxophone)
Pablo García Vega studied saxophone at the Superior Conservatory of Malaga and is currently the Director of the School of Music in Alhaurín de la Torre.
