Travel fare aggregator website and travel metasearch engine Skyscanner has done their research and come up with what they think is the best short-haul airline flying out of the UK based on price, baggage charges, seat reservations and onboard catering.
Skyscanner’s John Ritchie said, “When booking flights travellers can often be confused by what is deemed to be a bargain and what isn’t. It’s very easy for a traveller to book a great flight deal only to realise that the extra costs for baggage and seat reservations have taken them over budget.”
And the winner is….
Of the 20 airlines in the mix, Ryanair came first for price, while Eurowings was number one in the baggage category and Romanian based Blue Air the best for seat reservations. However, after taking everything into account Easyjet was the overall winner scoring high in every category.
