You might be forgiven for thinking “that place looks familiar” after watching the soft drink giant Coca Cola’s new advert.
With Louis Armstrong’s What A Wonderful World playing in the background, viewers are treated to scenes of people having lunch on the Barribarto mirador on Calle Santo Cristo.
When asked about what he thought of the video Frigiliana mayor, Alejandro Herrero, said: “I am pleased with how it went and with the cooperation of Coca Cola who approached the town hall to enlist the residents help in getting production materials up to the mirador as cars are not permitted in that part of the village.
Often referred to as being one of the prettiest villages in Spain, Frigiliana is close to Nerja and makes for an excellent day trip or, like the video suggests, a delicious lunch with a view.
