Take That have been announced to play at this year’s Calling Festival.
The famous British band will join a culmination of other big names that will perform on ‘the Rock’ on 7th & 8th September this year.
It is noted that the group have achieved 56 number one singles, 39
number one albums and have received 8 Brit Awards. As part of their Greatest Hits world tour, the band will be coming to the Mediterranean venue and will also celebrate their 30th anniversary.
The Take That Greatest Hits World Tour, will perform in Gibraltar on Sunday 8th September 2019.
Minister for Culture, Steven Linares said: “This will be the first of many. The headliners are one of the best ever with Take That playing for us on Sunday. And the Saturday headliner is yet to be announced but will be one which will please many.”
MTV will be this year’s media partner and the Europa Point Leisure Complex state of the art stadium will be the venue.
The show is being promoted as the biggest music festival ever staged in Gibraltar. It is also predicted that as soon as the full list of famous performers are revealed, that the event will sell out in advance.
