As the Sierra Nevada Ski Resort gears up for another exciting winter season Spain’s premier skiing destination has invested 9€ million in upgrades.
With better snow management, added snow cannons, restoration work and new runs the 2019/2020 season looks like being the best ever.
Europe’s most southerly ski resort is located near to the city of Granada just two hours from the Costa del Sols popular beaches.
Set at an altitude of 3,300-metres the Sierra Nevada Ski resort not only offers runs to suit all abilities of skiers but is an excellent place to work on your suntan.
The Sierra Nevada ski resort is also one of the few places in the world where you can ski in the morning and be on the beach after lunch.

Following skiers requests, a second route for mountain skiing has been created through Loma de Dilar. There are now also new routes linking the summit of Veleta to Pradollano to tracks on the south slope.
33 new snow cannons now have the ability to create the same amount of snow in half the time it previously took. This is great news not only for skiers but the environment too.
Active real-time Information screens are being fitted to the ski lifts, some of the lower stations and in the car park.
A new Domino’s Pizza will open at Ts Monachil and the San Miguel tasting station at La Bodega in Pradollano will be enlarged.
