The Cueva de Nerja has reopened to the public.
The caves will be operating under its regular opening times from 09:30 to 16:30 and from June 23 until September 8, from 09:30 to 19:00.
While only able to operate at a third of standard capacity the Nerja Cave Foundation will limit the number of visitors to 120 per hour rather than the 360 visitors per hour before the Coronavirus.
New security measures put in place include thermal imaging cameras and the prevention of people showing a fever from entering the caverns. Along with this hydro-alcoholic gel and glove stations have been set up with signs and markers to remind visitors that they must adhere to social distancing rules.
