The Councillor for Commerce, Javier López, has announced that the Nerja street market will reopen on Tuesday 30 June with its usual hours from 9 am to 2 pm.
Security measures will be in place upon reopening, which includes maintaining a distance of 1.5 metres between the stalls and the customer.
In cooperation with the Local Police, traffic will be directed throughout the area for the safety of pedestrians and to reduce large crowds. It will also be compulsory for the use of masks and hand disinfection with hydroalcoholic gel.
Councillor Javier López explains that “the greatest concern is maintaining a safe distance and the use of masks to avoid possible infections of coronavirus”.
