Nerja town hall reports that the cleaning and disinfection of the streets within the town has been improved due to the use of a new disinfection vehicle.
“Since the state of alarm was declared, our greatest concern is the health safety of residents and visitors in public spaces, so we will continue to invest in ensuring the health of all,” said the Councillor for Town Services, Gema Garcia, who estimates nearly 50,000 euros has been spent on disinfectant products since the start of the pandemic.
The councillor adds that services are being organised to boost the work in the area of the Balcón de Europa and surrounding areas due to the increase in visitor numbers.
“Following the plan carried out last summer, we have been reorganising the services to keep the town clean and disinfected, to guarantee the safety of all the people who walk through it”, concludes the councillor. This is a reassuring move for all holiday makers coming to Nerja in the coming weeks and for the residents of Nerja.
