The cumulative incidence rate of Covid-19 in the last 14 days in Nerja is today at 18.9 per 100,000 inhabitants. Just 4 individuals have tested positive over the last 2 weeks. The mayor has congratulated the people of Nerja and Maro for the responsible behaviour maintained in recent weeks, which is allowing us to keep our municipality at the level considered low risk.
However, the councilor has once again asked residents to maintain caution and not lower their guard until the pandemic is almost out of the way. “This is how we must continue over the next few weeks so that we can reach the Easter holiday in the best sanitary conditions.”
Regarding the measures, it is recalled that the opening hours of shops and hotels remain until 9:30 p.m., meetings of up to 6 people, except inside the restaurant premises, being 4 per table, and all limits of capacity and maximum number of people allowed depending on the activity carried out.
