From 1st June through to 30th September, shops in Nerja will be able to open every day of the week, including Sundays and public holidays.
The municipality has its first Zone of Great Tourist Influence (ZGAT) for the purposes of opening hours and will be able to open without restrictions up to a month earlier than in previous years and regardless of the size of the business.
Last March, the Junta made a regulatory change which establishes that the summer, for commercial purposes, begins on 1st June instead of 1st July. In addition, the new ZGAT also includes Easter Sunday, which was not included in the previous legislation.
