The Ayuntamiento of Nerja, has launched a campaign to raise awareness about recycling.
The mayor stressed the need to launch these awareness campaigns, highlighting the importance of recycling for the protection of the environment and conservation of our coastline. This initiative also provides information on the correct separation of waste, and promotes the reduction of the use of plastics, to prevent them from ending up on our beaches and seabed.
Planned activities, which will also take place on 2 August on the Paseo Antonio Mercero on Burriana beach and 9 August, again on the Paseo Marítimo de la Torrecilla, include the puppet show “El mago Tetrabrik” for children, the games and workshops “La canasta de los residuos” and “Pasito a pasito”, as well as the “Cuento de los residuos” and the participatory dynamic ‘La reciyincana: la yincana del reciclaje’ (The recycling gymkhana: the recycling gymkhana).
