Pio Pio is located at the top of calle San Miguel, with one side facing Plaza Cantarero and the other facing the bus station.
There is a reasonable outside terrace.
Pio Pio offers English, Continental and Spanish breakfasts, specialities of roast chicken, chicken stew, tortillas and more, a pint of beer for only €2 and a menu del Dia starting at just €5.50.
Open every day from 07:00.

We went to Pio Pio, but upon arrival the smell was overpowering, not of food but of lack of proper hygenic cleaning. We left without even looking at the menu.

Cold stew, more skin & bone than chicken, ignored repeatedly by young waiter, bill wrong, infested with flies. Not much more to say othet than I definitely would not return.

Today I forgot my Samsung Smartphone on the fenced (!) terrace. I realised just a few minutes after we left. I went back and the waiter had only half cleared the table and taken the money we left to pay the bill with. I asked him for the phone that was left on the table. He knew nothing about it…. I will never be able to proof, but there were only 2 more tables occupied 1 with 2 tourists 1 with probably a Spanish, older man, neither of them close to ours, no new people had arrived on the terrace when I came back. I received a very violent answer from both the waiter and the guy behind the bar, which I think was his boss, when I asked them to please return my phone to me with lots of personal memories and videos plus photo´s on it that had not been saved yet. They had not seen the phone when they cleared the table just after we left it was my own fault. Correct, thanks Pio Pio for your fantastic service… I will never go back to this restaurant, and I would not recommend to go their to anyone!

So sorry to hear that you lost all those precious memories. Irreplaceable and very upsetting. Also very suspicious, and dreadful treatment from the management.
