Gambrinus

Gambrinus, but that’s what they all say. Beer drinkers should know who he is, or should at least have heard of him! So, who or what is Gambrinus? Well, apart from anything else, he’s the little character on Cruzcampo beer cans and bottle labels. He is also the Cruzcampo company mascot.

La Bodeguilla

I’ve always liked the barrel tables outside La Bodeguilla on calle Antonio Millón, Nerja, pass them every day, but never really thought of the bar as a ‘tapas bar’ as such. Saint Valentine

February is the time when flowers and gifts are exchanged between loved ones, all in the name of St. Valentine. The history of Valentine’s Day, and its patron saint, is shrouded in mystery.

New Year’s Eve in Nerja

Christmas may be a very quite and subdued celebration in Spain, but New Year certainly isn’t and is definitely something to be experienced. So, what happens in Nerja on New Year’s Eve?

The exhibition is at the Sala Mercado in calle San Miguel, next to Plaza de la Ermita, and is open Monday to Friday 11:00 – 13:00 and 18:00 – 21:00. Naturally, we just had to check it out.
