The beaches in Fuengirola now have lifeguard and rescue services provided by the company Medios Acuáticos S.L. and the service will continue until September 15th 2013.
Temporary licences for street performers
Fuengirola Council has created a Special Plan for the Better Use of Public Roads 2013 which, amongst other things, regulates ‘live’ performances by street artists in public places in the town. The Council plans to issue 15 temporary licences, valid until December 31st, to 7 musicians, 4 portrait painters, 2 mime artists and 2 children’s entertainers.
Uniform for sunbed operators
The sunbed concessionaires on the beaches of Fuengirola now have a standard uniform as part of plans to improve the general image of the town for visitors. The scheme is being introduced progressively during June.
