Messi out for up to three weeks
Lionel Messi will be out of action for up to three weeks after pulling a right thigh muscle in the 2-0 win over Almeria on Saturday. The injury to the world player of the year will rule him out of Tuesday’s Champions League trip to Celtic as well as two Spanish league games against Valladolid and Osasuna.
Marquez extends lis lead

Valladolid 2-2 Málaga
A rare Friday night kick-off saw Málaga draw 2-2 at Valladolid. The Blue and Whites took the lead through Santa Cruz and they stayed in front until the second half. After the break, however, Javi Guerra and Osono found the net to put the home side in front but Pawlowski saved the day for Málaga.

Real Madrid 4-1 Getafe
Gareth Bale was due to make his home debut for Real Madrid against Getafe on Sunday evening but had to be replaced two minutes before the start after injuring himself during the warm-up!
