Apple pie at Moin Moin
Moin Moin is a fairly new German bakery in calle Dr Fleming (small pedestrian street linking avenida Castilla Perez and calle Málaga) with a small cafeteria section.
Pinocchio has moved temporarily
Due to the renovation of the building, the Pinocchio Italian restaurant has taken over the ground floor of the California restaurant a little further along calle Cristo, Nerja. It even has a puppet hanging on the wall.
El Colono open again after winter break
Restaurant El Colono in calle Granada, Nerja, is open again after its winter break, so the regular Wednesday evening Flamenco shows are back on the menu.

The former La Canoa on avenida Mediterraneo, Nerja, opposite the Hotel TIU Monica, has now become the Baserri Taberna.

Linda’s Bar in calle Málaga, which changed hands last December, now has its new name emblazened on the front of the building…Hemingway’s.
La Vecchia Osteria up for sale
La Vecchia Osteria in avenida Castilla Perez is up for sale. This was the restaurant opened by the people from Da Tino cafe, next to the iglesia El Salvador, but it hasn’t lasted very long.
Ichiban now open
The new Ichiban Japanese Teppanyaki restaurant in calle Cristo (replacing El Patio Cordobés) is now open for business.
