Closures for one reason or another
La Canoa Bar and Grill opposite the Hotel Riu Monica is up for sale or lease, as is The Saloon on avenida Castilla Perez. Potters Bar in Edificio Miami is closed at the moment and El Tapeito on calle Chaparil has been gutted.
Anchor Inn closed temporarily
The Anchor Inn in calle Ruperto Anduez, Nerja, is closed until further due to illness.
H20 holiday closure
Bar H20 on Burriana beach is closed this week for well-deserved holidays, reopening again at 15:00 on Saturday December 14th.
Restaurant Sollun closed for holidays
Restaurant Sollun, calle Pintada 23, Nerja, is now closed for holidays until March 10th 2014.

Croissants
Being partial to a good croissant, I have been sampling a great number of these delights and, for what it is worth, my conclusions are as follows.
Pisces Fish and Chip Restaurant/Takeaway
December 6th 2013 will see the opening of a new fish and chip shop in Nerja. It is called Pisces and is located in calle El Barrio in the alley between ZaZa’s chicken restaurant and the ice cream parlour. It will offer both an eat in and take-away service.
Linda’s Bar closes
Linda’s Bar on calle Málaga closed on Wednesday night, November 20th, and after a bit of a refurbishment will reopen on December 1st under new ownership.
Christmas at Restaurant First
Restaurant First, near the Marinas de Nerja Hotel, is offering an evening of great food and entertainment for Christmas Day.
