One of two new eateries in calle Mérida, to the left just past the Hotel Riu Monica in Nerja, is Momo Burger, which advertises itself as serving ‘gourmet hamburgers’. There are many other items on the menu, of course, not just burgers.

Bar Alameda in calle Jaén, Nerja, has had quite a few owners in the past couple of years and has just reopened with the latest set.
One of the best
Popped in to Chiringuito Mauri on El Playazo beach for a quick beer and a tapa and, as always, good quality, great service and still only €1 for a beer and tapa. Can’t beat it really. Nice grassy garden terrace area, spacious interior and great food, including BBQ, so always worth a visit.
Taperia La Plaza closes
Taperia la Plaza in Plaza La Marina has closed down, almost one year after it opened.
Grand Opening of Maui
The official Grand Opening of the Maui bar in Plaza Tutti Frutti, Nerja, takes place on Friday April 4th from 20:00 and new owners Claire and Eej cordially invite everyone to pop along and join them for a drink to celebrate the occasion.
Eli’s and Maui
The former Metropolis/Paradise/El Ancla/Scrum in Plaza Tutti Frutti, Nerja, has now become Eli’s. Opposite, Maui has opened once more under new ownership.
La Taberna is open again
