B is for Balcón de Europa – Balcony of Europe, the focal point of Nerja and generally considered to be the ‘centre of town’.
The name ‘Balcón de Europe’ is generally believed to have been coined by King Alfonso XII during his visit to Nerja in 1885.
The viewpoint offers great views out to sea as well as overlooking Calahonda and La Caletilla beaches.
