C is for Cannon. There are several specimens of these old fire pieces in Nerja, including two on the Balcón de Europa and one on the Mirador del Bendito.
There are apparently a number of old cannon in the municipality, some partly buried, and in various states of deterioration.
This one, now on the Mirador del Bendito, was found lying on Calahonda beach. It was restored and mounted at the Mirador in 2011.
