On the raised platform at the end of the Balcón de Europa is a decagram, a ten-sided star polygon. This particular one is a 10/4 compound of two pentagrams, with every fourth point connected.
There is an urban legend connected with the central ‘spot’ of the decagram, this stating that if you stand still on this spot, eyes closed and make a wish then it will be granted. It does not, apparently, apply to such things as wishes for ‘lottery wins’ etc.
When or where this urban myth began is unclear, but it nevertheless exists so maybe it’s worth giving it a go!
