The Mirador del Bendito is a viewpoint on prolongation Hernán de Carabeo and looking out to sea over Carabeillo beach.
From the centre of town, Balcón de Europa, it is an easy and flat ten minute leisurely stroll along calle Carabeo.
In May 2011, an addition to the Mirador del Bendito was a cannon which was previously just lying around on Calahonda beach. A new base was constructed and the cannon now proudly stands in the centre of the Mirador.
There are, apparently, quite a few old cannon throughout the municipality, most of them at least partially buried.
There are two pergolas on the Mirador with the roofs being a mass of vegetation as opposed to being solid, making them very pleasant places to sit.
Plenty of cafes and bars in the immediate vicinity and, of course, there is Carabeillo beach below. Quite steep steps down to the beach and not for anyone with mobility problems.
From Carabeillo beach it is just a short stroll along the sand to Burriana beach.
Cafes and bars in the area include: cafe Bakus (terrace extends onto the Mirador del Bendito), Bahia, Caeli (two minute stroll), Celebes and the tapas bar La Ferreteria (two minute stroll).
